More info on Chris Broach

Chris Broach is excited to announce a special sale on his latest series of singles and splits, featuring collaborations with a variety of bands and labels. These releases showcase Broach's signature guitar-driven sound, filled with dynamic, poly-rhythmic, and odd-timed songs that simply "feel right." This marks a return to releasing music under Broach's own name, making these offerings a must-have for fans and collectors alike.

Recent collaborations with electro-tinged bands have been innovative, but these new singles bring back the catchy, groovy, and incredibly strong songs that fans have come to love. “It’s a new approach to creating music for me, focusing on delivering finished songs to the labels I’m working with one at a time. This allows me a more deliberate crafting process, and I can to look at each song as an individual creation - and not worry about its fit in the whole.” This is the innovative, energetic, and deep sound you’re looking for from Chris Broach.

More info:

Chris Broach is probably best known as the co-frontman of Braid who toured last year in support of the 25th anniversary of the release of “Frame & Canvas” on Polyvinyl Records. He’s also the frontman and co-founder of The Firebird Band, L’Spaerow, and SNST. Broach recently joined Braid on a residency in Tokyo at the end of this March 2024 to complete Braid’s “Frame & Canvas” 25th anniversary tour.

Broach is a lifelong musician with a love for punk and independent music. As someone who was introduced to punk and hardcore music through skateboarding in his neighborhood, Broach has curated a collection that reflects his deep-rooted passion for multiple genres of indie music. Drawing inspiration from his formative years attending local shows and studying music arrangement in high school, to touring the world in bands, he brings a unique perspective to the table. Though classically trained in music early on, he learned to play electric guitar by ear starting at the age of 16.

Though faced with physical and mental health challenges in the past 4 years, Broach has found renewed inspiration and motivation to continue creating music. After a successful tour last year, he’s creating music he wants to make and you can now enjoy the fruits of his labor and support his journey back to the stage. “By releasing my latest tracks under my own name, I hope to connect with my audience on a deeper level and share the passion and creativity that continues to drive me.”
